Shinfield Voluntary Car Service
- provides transport for local people who have difficulty coping with public transport to access doctors, dentists, some hospital appointments, shopping trips and social journeys within the area.

Local walks in Shinfield Parish
Leaflets and large maps of six village and woodland walks are available. Also there are regular guided circular walks in and around the parish on a monthly basis.
There are notice boards around the Parish, detailing the various footpaths available to walkers. The condition of footpaths is monitored by volunteers.
